《Home》《Hiragana》《あ・か Family》

Watch this video before actually starting to learn Hiragana itself.

This will help you understand the key understanding of patterns that you can apply when learning Hiragana.

On this page, you will focus on and learn about あ(a) and か(ka) family.

Tips!

あいうえお(a, i, u, e, o) is the most essential family of Hiragana because they are the vowels and there are only 5 vowels in Japanese, which means it helps you understand well if you remember for the first step. Other than this family, there are always consonants attached to a, i, u, e, o (a consonant plus these five vowel sounds), so make sure you have the correct pronunciation for these five letters.

Please watch this video. This will help you remember Japanese mnemonically with some visual stimulus.
